Here is another set of pictures taken on a warm day…a warm day when the wheat was still in the fields waiting to be harvested and sweet dresses could be worn! Ahhhh, so refreshing to see during the super cold days of winter right now!
Let me introduce you to the one and only, brown-eyed, beautiful J. She contacted me about taking her Senior pictures and, after hearing her thoughts, we began to map out a plan for her session. I absolutely LOVED the sites she had chosen and the outfits she planned to use! Our main challenge: doing everything we desired to accomplish within the time set aside for her session! It was tight and J did several quick changes in the car driving from one location to another (with the help of her mom and sweet friend), but we were able to do so much during our time together! Here is a look at what we caught for her:
We started at a family farm, using the wheat field and a huge old barn!

(I have always admired this barn from the road and had entertained thoughts of taking pictures there one day…J made that possible! Very fun!!!)
Around the barn there were several other great spots for pictures, so we hit those quickly before moving on!

J had asked about taking some pictures near railroad tracks and an old dirt road she liked…we swung by the two and had so much fun snapping away!

The suitcases seemed so fitting: a Senior anticipating the next stage of life…preparing to move on to the next thing. Walking down the road to see what is ahead and what the future holds for her. I have no doubt she is going to do great things in life and enjoy the journey along the way!
We also went by J’s house…where I could have easily spent our whole time taking pictures! So many neat spots for her in her FFA jacket and cute dress!

Taking pictures of J with her stately horse, D, was a true highlight! He did so well while we had him out…I sure appreciated her parent’s help with him as well! (Thanks, you two!)

This last picture is an all time favorite of mine!!! J, thanks for entrusting me with your Senior pictures…I hope you enjoy them for years to come! I also hope you thoroughly enjoy these remaining months of your final year of high school!

K and I talked before her session and decided it would be a shame not to have pictures in a second outfit since we were right there in the wheat…so she brought along this little dress and we captured some more sweet pictures of her. Don’t you just love the dreamy haze when looking into the sun?!?

We wrapped up this quick session with a stop by some fence posts and a sunset shot or two!

A special thanks for K’s grandparents for letting us tromp down the wheat in an area of their field and for letting us roam around the fence line to take pictures! 🙂

And that was a wrap! Charging on into his 4th year, sucker making the entrance a little sweeter. 🙂
